She's continuing to turn heads in Expendables 2 out this month and as the host of the new series for Investigation Discoveries "I Survived Evil".

THROWBACK THURSDAY: THE HALTER DRESS

Here is a great throwback we did in 2006 for Calabasas Magazine, featuring Parminder Nagra wearing a gold halter neck. We all know that 2006 seems like decades ago, but the same trends that happen 6 years ago still get the same recognition today, for example halter necks. Halter necks are still around today because they look flattering on any figure. They put a sexy twist on showing off your shoulders, and back. So don't throw out that halter neck in your closet because they are here to stay!

WEDNESDAY MENSDAY: 3 SUMMER TRENDS NOT TO MISS

The summer might be coming to end, but it never ends here in sunny California! This one is for the boys, it is never to late to learn about mens summer 2012 trends....

Feeling the summertime blues? Well don't feel it, dress like it! From Royal blue to sky blue you will see a lot of men sporting different arrays of the color blue. Don't be afraid to mix and match with different pops of color, or for a simpler look you can't go wrong with a sleek white button down. 

     We know everyone loves a good pair of Levi's, but it is summertime, and bright colors are IN! Get a pair of bright khakis to make your outfit stand out. Style these cool colors with either a plain T or with a fun design like stripes! You can even try rolling them for a different look. Men, I know usually you leave the bright colors to the girls, but don't be scared to step out of the box with this summer trend.

The late 60's are back and printed shirts are brighter and bolder then ever! Plain white T's will never fade away, but trade that plain white T for a cool funky print. From hippie flowers to colorful dots wear these cool designs with a simple pair of jeans or even shorts. Beat this summertime heat and buy a printed shirt today!

This Parisian shoe designer who spends most his time in Los Angeles became interested in design through art and music.  He began designing shoes in his teenage years and to this day his passion for design is still strong!  His creations are unique and are worn by many different celebrities: Scarlett Johansson, January Jones, Olivia Wilde, Kristen Stewart, etc.  Watch out because Jerome Rousseau is coming in hot!

Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Launches Pop-Up Shop in Grand Central Terminal

August 20, 2012, New York, NY – Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is proud to announce the launch of the brand’s first-ever pop-up store location.  First stop, New York City’s Grand Central Terminal.

“I am so excited to be opening our first pop-up shop in the US,” says Bobbi Brown, makeup artist and Founder of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, “A broad cross-section of women pass through Grand Central every day, so it is the perfect location to be in the middle of all of the excitement and capture women on-the-go.”

The design of Bobbi Brown “The Pop-Up”—located in the Lexington Passage—is exclusive to the brand’s new pop-up locations around the world.  Uniquely designed, the architecture will be flattened into wallpaper, which will also depict photos of Bobbi in action around the globe and iconic products from the brand.  Incorporating personal touches and elements from Bobbi’s office in SoHo, the shop’s industrial design will mimic Bobbi’s design aesthetic at her Montclair free-standing store featuring heavy metal furniture, Emeco 1001 chairs, stainless steel rolling tables, and the iconic Bobbi signature in neon lights.  The shop will be easy to navigate while keeping with the chic and streamlined interiors of all Bobbi Brown counter locations worldwide.

At 800 sq ft, “The Pop-Up” will house the entire collection of color cosmetics, fragrance and skincare, with a special focus on the new Long-Wear Foundation and Creamy Matte Lipcolor collections.  Five makeup artists will be in store at all times to provide iconic Bobbi Brown high-touch service including 5-minute "instant pretty" touch ups and free makeup lessons.  Bobbi’s personal manicurist, Roza Israel, will set up shop for the grand opening, offering 10-minute manicures to consumers and commuters alike on a first come-first serve basis.

Just in time for the holidays, the pop-up shop will be the perfect location to stop in before or after work for makeup application or party touch ups, or to stock up on gifts and stocking stuffers.  To date, the brand plans to keep the shop open until January 2013.

"This pop-up shop will enable us to connect directly with our consumers,” says Maureen Case, President of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, “It will showcase some of the best elements from our global free-standing stores, will bring the best of Bobbi to life, and will have a halo effect on consumers shopping in other locations closer to home."
