FORECAST FRIDAY: FALL 2012 TRENDS

It is almost that time of the year again where the leaves change colors, and we finally get a break from this California heat!

                                PRETTY IN PEPLUM

Peplum has made its way to Fall!  From day to night, this trend is a hit! Pair a Peplum top with some skinny jeans and a cute pair of booty heels and your good to go.  Going out on the town for the night, a Peplum dress is the perfect classy look!

                                  GOLDEN BEAUTY

It's easy to look like a goddess this Fall.  Add a bit of glamour by wearing this Fall's trend Gold to your wardrobe.  Wether it's a gold accessory or a metallic gold outfit, it will definitely be quite the statement.  This trend is a classy and sophisticated! Accessorize a gold dress with something black and you will stand out!

                    LEATHER HEAD

This Fall the leather trend is coming in hot.  Leather has always been a popular trend, but this Fall it's really making a statement! This is one of my favorite trends because of its versatility.  From a simple leather jacket, to leather pants, dress, top and even leather gloves.  A simple piece of leather will spice up any outfit.






                                                                                                    

THROWBACK THURSDAY: THE BEAUTIFUL LISA VANDERPUMP INEMERALD GREEN

Happy Thursday Loves! The weekends almost here, but before you get to excited about the weekend we are throwing it back once again!

Here's a shoot Toni styled for Bravo's "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and the new show "Sur", with our Favorite Brit- Lisa Vanderpump.  Lisa looks beautiful in this Emerald Green gown by Mark Zunino for last year's Spring Issue of Beverly Hills LifeStyle magazine.  The jewel tone color compliments many different skin tones, as you can see in the photo above. Emerald Green is only going to get heavier as the season progress and is going to be a hot color this fall!

Be sure to amp up your closet with some green goodies and be the envy of your friends!

MENSDAY WEDNESDAY: SUIT UP!

Men, we all know that suits can make the man, so today I am going to tell you three awesome suit trends for this upcoming Fall! Suits are tailored and made generally to show off mens great figure and broad shoulders.

The first trend for Fall is wearing your buttoned down shirt, but leaving the first three buttons undone to portray a casual V-neck kind of look.

Tired of the old traditional suit and tie? great, because bow ties and skinny ties will still be big this Fall!

Lastly, stand out at your office and get a suit with one of a kind texture and color. For example, go for a cozy wool or tweed, which are two great fabrics for Fall/Winter.

MAKEOVER MONDAY: TONI'S BEACH BAG MUST HAVES

Happy Makeover Monday! Hope your weekend was a good one loves!

For a woman on the go this product is a must, but not thought of! For a long day at the beach give a  little spritz on the go, try Evian Travel Spray and you will feel as good as new.

And do not forgot to apply your Face's Sunscreen! It is my favorite because it always helps for the perfect complexion to add a light sunscreen for the midday refresher. I really like this product because it does not clog your pores but kills two birds with one stone and treats as a moisturizer as well. Sun protection is a must have not only for well-treated skin, but to also fight off skin cancer. Skin cancer can be easily forgotten about, but is a main problem amongst our generation.

Something, in this California heat you cannot do without. And, ladies we know that a perfect day at the beach can turn not so perfect with the beach weathered hair. So throw it up in a HAIR TIE that is another must have for a girl who doesn't know where life will take hair.

Rose lip gloss the so in this summer. It  is the perfect reddish, medium rosey pink and full of shine gloss that is rich and creamy. It's the perfect effortless look for the beach, a nice swab on those gorgeous lips and it transforms your look to a well kept sophisticated look. AI FAV PIA TOSCANO IS AMAZING "TIME AFTER TIME"

Many were quite upset with the early departure of American Idol Season 10 favorite Pia Toscano. This Howard Beach native brings us back to the days of Mariah's range of high notes and a VOICE like Christina. "Powerhouse" Pia made it clear that she is ready to belt out that beautiful voice for years to come. Joining long time friend and BMG Chrysalis artist Jared Lee on stage on Wednesday night at the Viper Room, the Italian songbird executed a Cyndi Lauper favorite with ease to perfection.

 

 

With a role that was written specifically for her in the new film Grace UnPlugged, meetings with producers of Glee and a debut album in the works, there is no sign of slowing down from this 'Wrecking Ball' (the song she penned for Danity Kane's and Celebrity Apprentice frenemy Aubrey O'Day).

FORECAST FRIDAY: FALL IN LOVE WITH THESE COLORS

As the temperatures drop slightly and the leaves change color, we are quickly reminded that summer is coming to an end. But with the end of summer comes beautiful autumn colors. Here's a quick guide to making sure your closet is keeping up with Mrs. Wintour's favorite palette for fall.

This by far is one of the brightest Fall/Winter color streams we've seen in a while. Pink Flambe', Tangerine Tango, and Bright Chartreuse transition effortlessy from Summer, while Honey Gold, French Roast, and Titanium give us an earthly rich depth that rounds out a very complete array of colors.

Embracing a chocolate brown over black this season will be crucial to tie in these colors with ease and charm. Make a bold statement in Olympian Blue and maybe even Ryan Lochte will take notice!

Looking for a softer approach to a pretty extreme, opt for Rose Smoke or Rhapsody with a Titanium pencil skirt or slacks.

It's going to be a very colorful fall and I can't wait to dive right in!

THROWBACK THURSDAY: WAIT.. IS THAT ELIZABETH TAYLOR?

The time to throw it back has come once again!  I love being able to post about Toni's previous work! This was an inspiration shoot Toni did back in 2011 as an inspiration of the Hollywood ICON Elizabeth Taylor.  These photos turned out beautifully and embraced her iconic beauty.  I am completely blown away by this shoot. Lindsay Lohan will play her in "Liz & Dick" film that will be out next year.

MENSDAY WEDNESDAY: 7 WARDROBE ESSENTIALS

Happy Hump Day!!

These are the 7 wardrobe essentials we think every guy should have in his wardrobe wether you're Zac Efron, George Clooney or the guy next door, these are some stylish solutions that will make the ladies take notice.

Every guy needs to own a great pair of dark denim.  You can dress the pair of jeans up with a blazer, button up and a nice pair of shoes or you can dress them down with a v-neck and a pair of sneakers for more of a casual day look.  AG Adriano Goldschmied Protege-7 Years Ash jeans are the perfect shade of dark denim!

I think a pair of shoes can say a lot about a guy!  So why not invest in a nice pair of Oxford's.  They are a clean classic shoe that will make an outfit look put together.  Oxford's don't just come in black, they also come in different colors, and patterns.  A good pair of Oxford's will create quite the impression on the ladies!





Last minute dinner date and you can't find anything to wear?!  Guys, we know that this can be stressful!  This is why it is always important to have a nice striped button-up shirt somewhere in your wardrobe.  The reason I say striped is because it is versatile and can be worn from day to night.  For day time throw on a v-neck with and a nice pair of denim and you are good to go for the day!




A watch is a MUST HAVE! It is the staple to the wardrobe and the equivalent to a woman's purse.  No, you don't need to buy a rolex to impress us women!  But a nice watch goes a long way.  It's the perfect accessory to complete a guys outfit.  Nixon watches are my favorite and there are such a wide variety to choose from!



Last but not least a reversible belt is very important to have!  Guys, we don't want to see your underwear!  So throw on a belt, not only does it add some style, but it keeps your pants right where you want them!

FORECAST FRIDAY: COLORED JEANS- HOT OR NOT?

I am sure by now we all know that colored jeans are a HOT commodity  for summer, but will they be in the fall??

Don't fear because the answer is yes! You will still be seeing colored jeans surfacing the streets everywhere this Fall, but with there being one difference, which are the colors. The color palette you will be seeing this Fall will be a collection of red ruby, purple amethyst and green tourmaline. Don't wait, jump on the band wagon and buy some today!

BEHIND THE SCENES: FALL FASHION EDITORIAL

As night fell, the model and cameras were put into action. The sound of amazed tourists and last minute set checks filled the air. Bright lights illuminated Rodeo Drive, yes the famous Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California. That long awaited magical moment team Ferrara along with the rest of the crew had been exhaustingly prepping for was finally here. Between the surreal ambiance and adrenaline keeping yourself from sitting back and just watching the model perform was a bit of a challenge. The fact that you had this once in a lifetime opportunity to be on set of this epic shoot, inevitably dawned on you almost immediatly after the model set foot in front of the camara. The moment you knew you had accomplished your objective was the moment the model connected her peircing look and the perfect shot was taken. The shoot ran well into the early morning, and as it came to an end you couldn't help wanting to jump in a time machine and do it all over again.
