Well it's not quite ABC's hit show "The Bachelor" and don't worry I won't even comment on JP's style and lack there of class, but it is true what they say, you can judge a guy by his shoe game. Don't believe me? Think of it this way, it shows how much he cares about his belongings. I'm not saying that a scratch or scuff makes him a douchebag, I am just saying that a guy who owns and respects shoes, definitely respects other aspects of his life too.
Ways to tell what kind of guy you have on your hands:
- Nice suit with chucks = Rebel with a lost style cause. This guy could care less about appropriate-ness or details for that matter. Don't expect him to remember your birthday or your grandma's first name.
- He owns an expensive pair of dress shoes, but leaves them scuffed and unpolished = A Boy who will never grow up. Not only does he not care about taking care of things, but don't expect him to want to provide for you either. He's more of a bigger better deal kinda guy, when the shoe has served its purpose he replaces it with another younger version.
- Jeans, shirt, and a pair of shoes from the 90's = a guy who is still living in the past. He isn't quite in Peter Pan-syndrome, but he somehow thinks he's trying to bring back retro style. Little does he know "Vanilla Ice" isn't the fashion icon.
- Cute style & tries to stay current = a man who is trying to impress you. We all love a man who can dress or at least tries to dress to impress us. We can't be the only ones spending money to look good.
